Math
This week we will use CUBES, a word problem solving strategy, to solve 2-digit and 3-digit addition and subtraction word problems. (3.NBT.1 & 3.NBT. 2) We will also work on identifying the reasonable answer (estimating) before solving the answer.
Social Studies
We will describe the structure of local government and how it functions to serve citizens. (3.C&G. 1.2) We will use dictionaries, social studies textbooks, and iPads to research to complete vocabulary activity.
