Math
In math we are working on rounding numbers to the nearest 10 and to the nearest 100. (Standard 3.NBT.A.1)
This week we will work on 2-digit and 3-digit subtracting with and without borrowing based on place value. (Standard 3.NBT.A.2) We practice different subtraction strategies/ methods in class this coming week.

Social Studies
In Social Studies we are studying Citizenship. This includes the rights and responsibilities that we have as a citizen.
Science
In Science we will continue to work with the scientific method by completing a class experiment. The students will record their thinking for each step and turn in their results.
Literacy
In Literacy we will continue to visualize to sense of text. The students will use schema and inference informally as they visualize.
In writing we will continue to explore Personal Narratives. The students will choose a topic/ small idea and begin to draft their personal narrative story.
In grammar this week we will continue to identify and use adjectives.
